  • Current total of 1 positive resident and 4 staff with COVID

We currently have 1 resident and 4 staff members who are positive for Covid-19.  The family of the resident has been contacted and made aware of the positive test result.  The resident will remain under isolation until the virus has past and negative test results are achieved.  Staff caring for the resident are following CMS and CDC protocols in an effort to help prevent any cross contamination.

The COVID-19 positive staff members will remain out of work until they have completed the required protocols to be safe to return to work.

We encourage all visitors to join our staff in following infection control protocols including wearing masks and sanitizing hands.  Your keeping socially distanced as much as possible during your visit is highly encouraged as well.

We currently have 1 resident and 3 staff members who are positive for Covid-19.  The resident is from the 500 unit of the Hamilton Terrace building.  The family of the resident has been contacted and made aware of the positive test result.  The resident will remain under isolation until the virus has past and negative test results are achieved.  Staff caring for the resident are following CMS and CDC protocols in an effort to help prevent any cross contamination.

The COVID-19 positive staff members will remain out of work until they have completed the required protocols to be safe to return to work.

With the low rate of cases, we have re-opened Group Activities in both buildings at this time.

Be aware that the 500 unit is under an observation period which includes ongoing testing of all staff and all residents.  Visitation is still allowed to continue as long as each visitor follows infection control protocols and no further outbreak occurs.

  • Group Activities temporarily suspended
  • All units still allowing visitation under CMS guidance

We have a total of 12 residents and 6 staff members who are currently positive for Covid-19.  These residents are all from the 600 units of the Hamilton Terrace building and East 1 of the Dalton building.  Each of the families of these residents have been contacted and made aware of their positive test results.  These residents will remain under isolation until the virus has past and negative test results are achieved.  Staff caring for these residents are following CMS and CDC protocols in an effort to help prevent any cross contamination.

The COVID-19 positive staff members will remain out of work until they have completed the required protocols to be safe to return to work.   We have also temporarily suspended all Group Activities in both buildings as a precautionary measure.

Be aware that the 600 and the East 1 units remain under an observation period which includes ongoing testing of all staff and all residents.  Visitation is still allowed to continue as long as each visitor follows infection control protocols and no further outbreak occurs.  Standifer Place is requesting that families and friends of residents on the 600 and East 1 units postpone visiting at this time unless an urgent matter is present that warrants compassionate care visits.  Contact the unit manager or social worker if you have questions.  Assuming no further COVID-19 cases are discovered on these two units, normal visitation on these units should resume later next week.

Through our testing protocols and procedures, we have a total of 7 residents who are positive for Covid-19 at Standifer Place.  They are all from the West 2 unit of the Dalton building.  Each of the families of these residents have been contacted and made aware of their positive test results.  These residents have been isolated and will remain so until the virus has past and negative test results are achieved.  Staff caring for these residents are following CMS and CDC protocols in an effort to help prevent any cross contamination.

Our East 3 unit that recently had 19 cases of covid among its residents has resolved, and Standifer Place is no longer recommending that visitors postpone visitation on East 3.

No residents in the Hamilton Terrace building have tested positive or shown signs or symptoms.  We currently have a total of 1 staff member that is positive for COVID-19.  They will remain out of work until they have completed the required protocols to be safe to return to work.

Be aware that the West 2 unit is placed under an observation period which includes ongoing testing of all staff and all residents.  Visitation is still allowed to continue as long as each visitor follows infection control protocols and no further outbreak occurs.  However, Standifer Place is requesting that families and friends of West 2 residents postpone visiting at this time unless an urgent matter is present that warrant compassionate care visits.  Contact the unit manager or social worker if you have questions.  Otherwise, please wait for our next update by Friday, September 16th.

Through our testing protocols and procedures, 17 residents of the Dalton Place building tested positive for COVID-19.  These residents are from the East 1 and East 2 units and one resident on West 2.  Each of the families of these residents have been contacted and made aware of their positive test results.  These residents have been isolated and will remain so until the virus has past and negative test results are achieved.  Staff caring for these residents are following CMS and CDC protocols in an effort to help prevent any cross contamination.  No residents in the Hamilton Terrace building have tested positive or shown signs or symptoms.  We also have 8 staff who have tested positive for Covid-19 and they are not allowed to return to work until they are Covid-19 negative.
