At The Health Center at Standifer Place, we know the importance of good nutrition. It is more than just food; it plays a significant role in nourishing the body, preventing weight loss, and healing wounds. To accomplish these goals a liberalized menu plan with alternate options are available at each meal.
Dining at HCSP is a social event. Our attentive staff focus on creating a pleasant atmosphere that includes linen tablecloths, floral centerpieces, music, and comfortable chairs. Daily menu options are displayed with resident’s choices.
Our regionalized menu caters to good southern cooking with a splash of other ethnic cuisines. Resident input plays a big part of this menu planning process. We constantly ask our residents for feedback on what we can do better. This information is taken seriously and used as part of our continual quality improvement plans, and customer satisfaction is one of the top goals of the Food and Nutrition Department.
Visiting families are welcome to enjoy a meal with their loved ones for a very low cost. Menus are posted throughout the facility and on all units. You may be surprised how often you find yourself dining with us once you taste our thoughtfully prepared food.
The dietary department is staffed with over 60 caring staff members, including four Licensed and Registered Dietitians, and managed by two award winning Certified Dietary Managers. If we can be of any help, please do not hesitate to contact one of our many caring professionals.
