At The Health Center at Standifer Place, our specialized Respiratory Therapy Unit provides 24-hour care and advanced treatment for residents with lung and breathing disorders. Staffed by registered respiratory therapists on-site around the clock, we focus on improving lung function, reducing anxiety, and enhancing overall quality of life for each resident in our care.

Our respiratory therapy program is designed to maximize respiratory function and promote long-term wellness. Residents receive personalized care plans that may include:
• Pulmonary disease treatment and endurance conditioning
• Breathing retraining and respiratory rehabilitation
• Ventilator and tracheostomy management
• Oxygen therapy and airway management
To support continuity of care, we also provide education and hands-on training for residents and their families on the use of respiratory equipment and procedures for those preparing to return home.
